This week’s issue deals with article content - a highly lucrative form of writing for the Web. Writing Web content in the form of articles makes an ideal second income-bonanza (or indeed primary income) for you if:

* You’re new to writing and writing for the Web;

* You want to make some money quickly to pay some bills;

* You just like writing articles.

You can easily make $1000 a day, and more, writing articles if you’re keen - the work is out there. However, to make a good income you need to know that there are many levels of article writing, and especially you need to beware the $2-article rabbit trap.

The $2 Article Rabbit Trap And How To Avoid It

Although the Web can be a literal gold mine if you know how the Web works, it also holds traps for you if you’re inexperienced in business or are just unwary. For example, please don’t write “$2 articles” - these are NOT articles. In fact, most of these “articles” are barely comprehensible; they’re just words strung together. They’re used as “filler” to get advertising clicks on what are known as MFA (Made For AdSense) pages.

To get the best results from writing article content, you need to create your own Web site - even a blog is fine - where you can advertise your writing services and can attract high-paying clients. If you have specialist knowledge in areas like technology, health, women’s issues, you can charge premium rates.

The online world is a goldmine for writers. I often wish I could clone myself, because the opportunities are so enormous, and they continue to grow. I hope this article will inspire you to develop your own article writing practice, because it’s truly simple and profitable. The days of the starving writer, if they ever existed, are long gone.

Love To Write? Great! You Can Make Money Online

If you love to write, you can make money online, because there’s a huge demand for text “content” on the Web. This is because the search engines reward content: if a site has lots of content, it will get lots of visitors. And of course, the more visitors a site gets, the more lucrative the site becomes.

If you’re new to writing articles, there are many different ways your article-writing skills can help you to turn a home office into a money machine. In this article I’ll cover two primary ways, one for beginning writers, and one for experienced writers.

Beginners: Write Articles For Others On The Out-Sourcing Sites

If you’re new to article writing online, visit a couple of the many out-sourcing sites online. At these sites, you bid on article writing jobs. The benefit of starting at the out-sourcing sites is that the article buyers will give you a fast education on the relationship between keywords and content online.

“Keywords” are words and phrases that Web searchers type into search engine query boxes. They’re important in article writing, because without appropriate keywords, a site won’t get the Web traffic it needs.

One tip which will help you on these sites - don’t bid too low. Never be afraid to ask for what you’re worth. Although some buyers just want quantity, many buyers are interested in quality, and they’re willing to pay for it. Quality, unique content which will attract site visitors is highly valuable online, so don’t price yourself too cheap.

You can make reasonable money on the out-sourcing sites, but as soon as possible you’ll want to develop a way in which you make the maximum income from your article writing, by acting as an article vendor. One of the ways to do this is to start an article writing business.

Experienced Writers: Develop An Article Writing Business

If you’re an experienced writer, you can start your own article writing business, selling articles in various ways. You can write article packages, which you can offer for sale in multiple lots, as well as custom articles for sites. Both these strategies are very easy: write some articles, put up a site, sell the articles - lather, rinse, repeat.

When you begin your article writing business, you’ll do all the writing yourself, unless you take on a partner; however as soon as possible you’ll want to sub-contract out the writing, so that you can focus on creating relationships and marketing.

Many writers just don’t want to be bothered with the marketing aspects of writing, so you can take over this role for a stable of writers. I’ve noticed that many writers are doing this already - with such fantastic opportunities available for writers, there’s a need for experienced writers to act as editors and marketers.
